This is a bi-lingual tour operated by a local Spanish company and therefore has a larger contingent of Spanish speaking passengers. Since it caters to the Hispanic visitor it has a propensity to have groups from Hispanic countries. The tour is narrated in both Spanish and English therefore making it suitable to English speaking visitors. If you mind having to listen to the tour in both Spanish and English this tour may not suite your needs. This tour also leans, in some of its sections, leans towards a religious theme due to the inclusion of places such as Avila, Santiago de Compostela and Fatima.

Day 1 - Saturday: Barcelona
Arrival at Barcelona airport. You will be transferred to your hotel. It is suggested that you take advantage of the free time to get to know one of Europe’s most cosmopolitan cities. In the evening, it is suggested to dine at the Pueblo Español, featuring architectural replicas from all of Spain’s regions. Premium Package includes entrance and dinner tonight. Accommodations.
Day 2 - Sunday: Barcelona
Buffet breakfast. This morning enjoy an escorted tour of one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. See the old Gothic Quarter with its magnificent cathedral. Stop to admire the exterior of Gaudi’s masterwork, the Basilica of the Sacred Family (Sagrada Familia). Continue to Montjuich Hill (site of the Olympic Stadium), to enjoy a spectacular view of Barcelona and its port area. Free time for lunch, perhaps in the Olympic Port area. Lunch included today in Premium Package. Afternoon free. Accommodations.
Day 3 - Monday: Barcelona – Zaragoza - Pamplona
Buffet breakfast. Departure into old Aragon and into the proud city of Zaragoza. Pause downtown in a main plaza where you will have free time to visit the impressive Basilica of El Pilar and have lunch on your own. Continue to Pamplona, capital of the ancient Kingdom of Navarre and world famous for its fiestas de San Fermín and its famous bullfights. Free time to get to know the city. We suggest taking a walk through the famous San Fermín enclosure and taste the typical "pintxos" (Premium Package included Tour and “pintxos” dinner). Accommodations.
Day 4 - Tuesday: Pamplona – San Millan de la Cogolla – La Rioja – Burgos – Valladolid
Buffet breakfast. Departure from Pamplona, touring the historic Camino de Santiago, an ancient Pilgrimage route that has become a cultural and tourist phenomenon apart from its spiritual and religious content. We will arrive at San Millán de la Cogolla and visit the Monastery of Yuso, a place of meditation for Gonzalo de Berceo and cradle of the Spanish language. After visiting the monastery, we will visit a winery of the Rioja region where we will learn about the elaboration of these delicious wines and then we will be able to taste them along with a typical Riojan lunch. We continue our trip to Burgos, city of “El Cid”. Free time to get to visit its gothic cathedral, one of the most beautiful in Spain. Departure to Valladolid crossing the lands of the Ribera del Duero. Upon arrival we will enjoy a tour of the city. Free time to get to know the city. We suggest enjoying a typical Castilian dinner. Day 5 - Wednesday: Valladolid – Leon – Santiago de Compostela
Buffet breakfast. Departure through the lands of Castille to the capital of the ancient Kingdom of León where we will have the opportunity to visit its cathedral where its beautiful stained-glass windows stand out, the church of San Isidoro, the Plaza Mayor or the famous Hostal San Marcos. We can enjoy the gastronomy in its famous Barrio Húmedo where we will have free time to have lunch. In the afternoon we continue our journey to the city of Santiago de Compostela. Accommodations.
Day 6 - Thursday: Santiago de Compostela
Buffet Breakfast. Today enjoy a guided tour of the old university city of Santiago, a UNESCO World Heritage site, featuring the majestic Cathedral on Obradoiro square and the impressive “mercado de abastos” (main market). Day 7 - Friday: Santiago de Compostela – Viana do Castelo – Porto
Buffet Breakfast. Depart south along the coastal "Rias Baixas" into northern Portugal. We will visit the town of Viana do Castelo, at the mouth of the Rio Limia with its historic old town and castle. We finalize our journey in the charming city of Porto, famous for its namesake Port wines. Accommodations.
Day 8 - Saturday: Porto
Buffet breakfast. This morning enjoy a guided tour of this city on the banks of the Douro river including a visit to a local Port winery. Premium Package includes lunch. Afternoon free. Accommodations.
Day 9 - Sunday: Porto – Aveiro – Fatima – Lisbon
Buffet breakfast and departure to Aveiro "city of canals", the Venice of Portugal. Continue to Fatima, one of the pilgrimage centers of Christianity. Free time to visit the basilica and enjoy lunch before continuing to Lisbon. Premium Package includes lunch. Tonight enjoy an optional opportunity to listen to the hauntingly beautiful Fado music while enjoying a delicious dinner. Premium Package includes Fado show and dinner. Accommodations.
Day 10 - Monday: Lisbon
Buffet breakfast. Morning tour of this ancient and lovely city overlooking the Tagus River. Admire its splendid avenues and monuments like the Tower of Belem and the Jeronimos Monastery. Afternoon free, with a strong recommendation to visit the graceful hilltop village of Sintra and the vibrant seaside resort town of Cascais this tour included in Premium Package. Accommodations.
Day 11 - Tuesday: Lisbon – Merida – Madrid
Buffet breakfast. Departure toward the Spanish border, and pause in the Roman city of Merida, founded in 25 BC as “Emerita Augusta”, to admire the impressive Roman Amphitheatre archeological site. Lunch is included in Premium Package. Continue to Madrid for late afternoon arrival. Accommodations.
Day 12 - Wednesday: Madrid
Buffet breakfast. This morning's escorted sightseeing tour will allow you to get a glimpse of some of Madrid's most outstanding attractions, like the Puerta del Sol, the magnificent fountains of Neptune and Cibeles, the stately Alcala Gate, the busy Gran Via, the Plaza de España and the Plaza de Oriente. Time for lunch on your own. Free afternoon to explore Madrid’s famous Art Museums or perhaps take an optional tour to the Imperial former capital city of Toledo. Accommodations.
Day 13 - Thursday: En route
Buffet breakfast. Pre-arranged transfer to Madrid airport at the proper time to check-in for your trans-Atlantic flight.
